Our client an independent Trust Company are looking for a File Reviewer to conduct client periodic reviews, ensuring the Company meets its obligations as a Trust Company Business and complies with AML/CFT/CPF laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct periodic client reviews at frequencies determined by each client's risk rating.
  • Identify and report instances where policies and procedures are not adhered to during the review process.
  • Initiate new Risk Assessment Questionnaires (RAQs) when current client risk ratings do not accurately reflect current activities or information.
  • Monitor and track the progress of client administration teams in addressing review action points.
  • Provide support to client administration teams regarding queries or issues arising from periodic reviews, escalating to the Head of Compliance and/or Compliance Manager when necessary.
  • Recommend changes to the Company’s Policies and Procedures Manuals to the Compliance Manager and/or Head of Compliance when appropriate.
  • Support the compliance function as needed.
  • Undertake additional projects and tasks relevant to this role as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Experience in the Trust services industry or a similar regulated environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Jersey’s local trust and company legislation and practices, including AML/CFT/CPF regulations.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; training will be provided for in-house software (Jobstream, Metastorm, and Virtual Cabinet) as needed.
