The Company

Our client is an established financial services group with an opportunity to join their small, friendly finance team as a Finance Assistant.

The Role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, this will be a varied role that will give you exposure to all aspects of the ledgers and transaction with the opportunity to assist in the preparation of management accounts in time. On a day to day basis you will:

* Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of bank statements to maintain financial integrity.

* Manage the end-to-end process of receiving, verifying, and processing invoices.

* Perform routine administrative tasks to support the finance department.

* Assist in gathering and preparing information necessary for the preparation of management accounts.

* Facilitate and manage bank payments, ensuring compliance with internal protocols and timelines.

* Process and verify employee expenses, ensuring adherence to company policies.

The Person

This role would be ideal if you're currently studying AAT at Level 2 or above and have similar experience that you're keen to now build on. You will be tenacious with strong attention to detail as well as being a good team player. You will be experienced and proficient with MS Office packages as well as SAGE.
