Finance Administration - Milton Keynes

£30,000 - £35,000 per annum

The Finance Administrator will be an integral part of the Head Office Finance team, working in a dynamic and evolving environment. Reporting to the Head Office Finance Manager at the Group’s Milton Keynes office, the role offers flexibility to work from home, with occasional visits to other offices within the Group.

The key esponsibilities listed below are not exhaustive and may change over time:

  • Conduct daily bank reviews and cashbook postings for three banks.
  • Allocate cashbook postings to sales and purchase invoices.
  • Investigate and resolve unknown bank receipts and payments.
  • Review and process group expenses, ensuring compliance with group policies.
  • Ensure correct account coding of expenses and accurate VAT claims.
  • Finalise group expenses and process them for payment.
  • Complete expense reporting and investigate any queries received.
  • Perform demonstrator car calculations.
  • Reconcile vehicle funding for lenders.
  • Calculate interest.
  • Provide cover for PayPal and Stripe payment reconciliation and payments.
  • Liaise with internal and external teams.
  • Take ownership of the group mailboxes.

Candidate Profile

This role would suit a dedicated individual focused on ensuring policies and processes are adhered to and issues are resolved efficiently. The candidate will thrive on the challenge of adjusting routines to meet deadlines and collaborating with people outside of the immediate team.

  • Previous experience working in a finance department is essential.
  • Experience with expenses and VAT is desirable.
  • Intermediate Excel skills (V-lookups, X-lookups, pivot tables, basic formulas).
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
