Finance Administrator

Position: Finance Administrator
Location: Bedfordshire
Reporting to: Head of Finance
Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Job Purpose:
Support the Head of Finance in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in postings and reconciliations of sales/purchase ledgers.
  • Support bank reconciliations, including petty cash.
  • Assist in managing financial records and receipts for daily transactions.
  • Help in preparing monthly/quarterly financial reports.
  • Support the credit control function by following up on unpaid invoices.
  • Assist in maintaining the fixed asset register.
  • Provide administrative support during audits.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAGE.
  • Basic understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
  • Ability to manage time and prioritise tasks effectively.
