Are you an experienced Finance Administrator with a background in education? We’re seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join a vibrant and supportive school in Ipswich.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy school finance team, focusing on purchase ledger duties. The role requires someone confident in handling invoices, processing payments, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
Processing purchase orders and invoices
Matching, batching, and coding invoices
Supplier statement reconciliation
Assisting with month-end procedures
Liaising with suppliers and internal departments
Ensuring compliance with school financial policies
Requirements:
Previous experience working within an educational setting is essential
Strong purchase ledger experience
High attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Competent in using finance systems and Microsoft Office
