Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Management: Handle large data sets to assess invoices and payroll charges, grouping them into projects for capitalisation.
  • Project Assessment: Evaluate projects in line with capitalisation policies to determine useful economic life (UEL) and appropriate categorisation.
  • Financial Modelling: Model capitalisation and calculate depreciation, ensuring logical and supportive documentation for system capitalisation.
  • Auditor Collaboration: Share calculations with external auditors and provide evidence supporting balances.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure projects generate value and remain free from impairment.
  • Process Support: Assist the Fixed Assets team in documenting the end-to-end capitalisation process and remediating the Fixed Assets module within the Unit4 system.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Excel Expertise: Proficient in Excel with strong skills in financial data analysis and manipulation.
  • Problem-Solving: Inquisitive and detail-oriented, with a knack for solving complex problems.
  • Organisation: Highly organised and attentive to process efficiency, ensuring smooth operations and accurate documentation.
