Finance Analyst FTC

We are working with a retail organisation who are looking to appoint a Finance Analyst on a 6 Month Fixed Term Contract to join their Capital Expenditure function.

This role will see you report directly to the Capital Accountant and liaise regularly with the Head of Financial Accounts and FD. You will be a key player and have significant responsibility for a multi-million pound Capital budget. Your role will assume end to end reporting and create processes for new and existing projects. Your analysis will support the prediction of achievability of future, long term forecasting.

As an experienced Finance Analyst you will have a trained eye to spot inefficiencies and the confidence to implement improvements across the function. You will support the development and refinement the group capital and refinement policy, ensuring control and compliance.

Ideally, you will:

• Have a strong understanding and working knowledge of IFRS accounting principles.
• Have experience working within Capital in a busy organisation. This can be within a practice or industry setting.
• Possess excellent Excel skills. This role requires an individual who is comfortable working with large and complex data sets.
• Be a strong communicator. As this position will see you work with a number of individuals across the business, it is essential that you are confident doing so.
