Financial Analyst – Stowmarket/Bury St Edmunds - £35,000 – 40,000 – Hybrid – Contract role

This is a maternity cover contract.

You will take responsibility for supporting the monthly reporting cycle, forecasting, and business planning processes while working closely with senior management and key internal stakeholders.

What You’ll Do: You will ensure accurate month-end reporting, including reviewing indirect costs, preparing journals, and producing monthly financial performance packs. You'll coordinate annual budgets, forecast updates, and support business planning by preparing budget submissions, loading them into the accounting system, and conducting trend analyses. Additionally, you'll provide insight and analysis on business performance, monitor KPIs, and support internal review procedures. You will also assist with system development and ad-hoc analyses as needed.

What You Need: Experience in a management accounting or analytical role.
Qualification isn’t key, you can be qualified by experience, fully qualified, part-qualified(ACCA, CIMA), or AAT-qualified.
You will need strong IT and particularly Excel skills.
