Duties and responsibilities of the role, include:
- Review and perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Produce management accounts and variance analysis.
- Oversee the billing cycle, ensuring any queries are followed up and resolved.
- Work with internal managers to assist with forecasting and reporting.
- Analyse large volumes of financial data, identifying key trends and findings.
- Review and assess the integrity of data, suggesting areas of improvement and enhancements to reporting.
- Assist and liaise with external auditors.
Skills and experience required, include:
- Advanced excel skills.
- Experience of analysing and manipulating large data sets.
- Qualified accountant with a professional body such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
- Experience in business partnering and working with the wider business.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent knowledge of month end procedures and management accounting.
