Reporting into the Finance Lead for Wellness Solutions, this is a great opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant to support in the provision of financial reporting, analysis & financial support to the Wellness Solutions & Transformation division on a 6 months fixed term contract with focus on both Opex run costs of the function, Capex investment and providing support in financial modelling and forecasting.  You will have the opportunity to work closely with Wellness Solutions and Finance colleagues, ensuring robust accounting practice and driving insightful reporting and analysis

The Role

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivery of month end close process including posting journals, P&L review, Capex review, and managing accruals & prepayments
• Manage reconciliation of cost and revenue to expected/agreed levels
• Building relationships across Wellness Solutions to help deliver robust cost analysis and supporting commentary
• Analysis of cost variances and assisting in updating forecasts / budgets to reflect new information on costs
• Support in timely and accurate delivery of insightful reporting
• Support in production of business cases as required
• Support all budget/forecast processes across Opex and Capex budgets, working with Finance & Wellness Solutions teams to provide timely outlook on cost profiles
• Support implementation of new finance system
• Working with Finance and Wellness Solutions teams to ensure adherence to governance and process around expenditure

Location:

This role is based in London or Nuneaton, and may be occasionally required to travel to other location of H&B. We support flexibility and productivity of our employees by hybrid working arrangements with minimum 2 days presence in the office

The Person

Key Requirements: 

• Prior experience in analyst/management accountant roles, preferably gained in a commercial environment. Additionally, you should be able to demonstrate excellent analytical skills and the ability to provide reporting insight and key decision support across the function.
• Strong Excel modelling skills
• A laser focus on attention to detail, the ability to translate finance for non-finance colleagues, and an appetite for driving and facilitating positive change.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles 
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build and maintain credible relationships with key stakeholders at various levels in the business
• Nice to have: Accountancy qualification currently studying (CIMA / ACA / ACCA) or newly qualified
