Job Title: Financial Analyst
Job Type: Permanent (part-time, 4 days in the office)
Location: Zurich - Switzerland

To provide an efficient and effective administrative support to the finance team.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategy and Planning
* Ensures awareness of the operational team plans to make sure they fully understand how their own work, and that of their colleagues, contributes to relevant goals
* Organises their own work activities in line with given schedules to ensure the achievement of personal and team objectives.
* Demonstrates awareness of operational plans

Policy, Process and Procedures
* Adheres to laid down policies and procedures, when undertaking prescribed duties in an administrative support role for the function, to achieve specific objectives
* Assists the function by helping to input and extract specified data/information to ensure timely, accurate and accessible records are maintained
* Positive feedback from the team.

Technical Performance
* Ensures accurate data is captured on systems to ensure high quality output of information supports related use and analysis.
* Prepares documents to ensure that appropriate records are established, and accuracy of records is maintained.
* Assists in research and the preparation of reports and back up information to support the team.
* Assists with the production of management information statistics and reports to support the business planning process.

Requirements:
Knowledge
* Basic knowledge and understanding of appropriate financial discipline.
* Working knowledge of relevant Aspen finance systems and processes.
* Basic understanding of operational goals/targets - and how their role contributes to these

Skills
* Good interpersonal and communication skills.
* Good organisational skills.
* Able to work independently.
* Proficient in MS Office applications e.g. Excel and other departmental software packages.
* Able to prioritise effectively and meet deadlines.
* Able to plan effectively and efficiently.

Experience
* Some 'general' experience of working in financial services, or other client service environment.
* Education experience up to A-level or equivalent (preferable)
