Energy consultancy SME on rapid growth trajectory is recruiting a qualified Finance Analyst to cover maternity leave.

This 18 month fixed term contract role is based in London 2/3 days per week. It will support the Finance Director and Senior Leadership Team in maintaining and monitoring the Management reporting requirements and KPIS across the business.

Main responsibilities are:

  • Take ownership of the forecasting and budget process
  • Prepare monthly results and board reporting pack
  • Create quarterly rolling forecast model, including cashflow
  • Investigate department level variances to forecast/budget/prior years to provide insight to senior management
  • Report on benchmarking KPIs for commercial drivers
  • Liaise at operational levels across the business to understand performance behind numbers
  • Improve accuracy of forecasting
  • Monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • Support finance projects i.e., preparation for external audit and future automation/software implementation

Looking for a fully qualified accountant with strong budgeting and forecasting experience. Proven experience in financial modelling and system implementation for an SME is required.

This role requires a hands- on, team player with the ability to work well with others at all levels, including senior management. Experience required in providing credible finance business insight and proactive support to stakeholders to aid and challenge decision making.
