Finance Analyst
ROLE OVERVIEW
A prominent investment firm based in Abu Dhabi, are recruiting for a Senior Associate to join their financial forecasting team. If you are ACA/ACCA qualified, with at least 3-5 years of liquidity and investment analysis experience then this role is a great opportunity for you to relocate and broaden your skill set across a range of asset classes.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Head of Financial Reporting you will be responsible for:
- Perform macroeconomic analysis to identify factors impacting the portfolio, returns, and liquidity
- Work with investment teams to understand the performance drivers and risks associated with different assets
- Assist in evaluating the liquidity of the endowment portfolio and analysing the potential impact of market conditions on liquidity
- Monitor and analyse regulatory changes and market trends
- Develop and maintain financial models to forecast liquidity and optimise the portfolio
- Prepare reports and presentations on portfolio performance, liquidity analysis, and investment recommendations for senior management and board meetings
EXPERIENCE & CHARACTERISTICS
- Qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA and CFA qualified or working towards L3
- Business-related masters degree from a top university (Finance, Accounting, Economics, Maths)
- A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in financial and investment analysis
- Proven track record with large multi-asset classes and liquidity management
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Extensive excel and modelling experience (DCF, WACC, NAV)
