An excellent opportunity has arisen to work for our established client in Newbury as a Finance Analyst. Reporting to the Finance Business Manager, this role will be responsible for providing analytical and data processing support.

As the Finance Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting management in preparing weekly and monthly reports using in-house system and Excel
  • Reviewing and analysing financial information - investigating anomalies, providing explanations on variances
  • Analysing monthly results, performing variance analysis, identifying trends and making recommendations for improvements
  • Supporting the budget process and forecasting cycles
  • Assisting other members of the finance team with ad-hoc reporting

The successful Finance Analyst will have the following related skills / experience:

  • CIMA / ACCA qualified (or working towards)
  • Must have advanced Excel
  • Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail
  • Ability to problem solve and use analysis techniques
