Sewell Wallis are working with a large and well-established manufacturer on the outskirts of Leeds to recruit a competent Business Analyst to join them to support one of their ongoing projects.

As the successful person will be working closely with the finance team, to be considered you must have a strong finance background and have proven experience of communicating and working with people of all levels; this role involves communicating with internal and external stakeholders, board members and various team managers.

This would suit someone who is part-qualified, or QBE, has strong analytical skills and is looking to build on their skill-set by securing a role with a progressive, well-known and sought-after-to-work-for company!

What will you be doing?

  • Identify risks to advise on the correct action required.
  • Monthly performance reporting.
  • Recommend improvements on ways of working when necessary.
  • Work closely with finance, customer services, sales and supply chain.
  • Analysis and reporting of the performance of debtor and creditor balances.
  • Create controls to ensure expected service levels are adhered to.

What skills are we looking for?

  • Excellent attention to detail with an analytical approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to analyse and interpret large volumes of information.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills.
  • Experience using Power BI, AS400.
  • Cash flow reporting experience.
  • Part Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA) or QBE.
  • Commercially aware with an understanding of core business processes.
