Our client is an entrepreneurial engineering-based business – a true market leader in their field. As part of their expansion programme, they are now looking for a committed studier to bolster their finance team.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Analyse and report on key financial data, ensuring managers receive timely, accurate, and relevant information.
  • Support the Chief Management Accountant in developing the management accounting function:
  • Ensure accurate cost reflection in the accounting system
  • Investigate variances and recommend corrective actions
  • Provide accurate cost information for decision-makers
  • Play a key role in the budget setting process, working with all departments on annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
  • Support the continuous improvement of product standard cost setting and overhead rate calculations.
  • Manage and develop the company's fixed asset register and asset purchase systems.
  • Contribute significantly to month-end and year-end close processes, supporting both financial and management accounting teams.
  • Analyse GRNI balances and provide support and guidance in managing automated accounts payable system.
  • Collaborate with non-finance departments to ensure correct transaction processes and maintain financial information integrity.


You will be actively pursuing your CIMA/ACCA studies and have a progressive and enquiring attitude with strong Excel skills and good all-round IT skills. You will be looking to further your career in a really supportive environment where opportunities are genuinely respected.
