Job Title: Finance Assistant

Basis: Full time

Working Hours: Monday – Friday 9AM – 5:30PM

Location: Home Based, but with office-based training in Colchester Essex.

Target: Experienced Finance Assistant

Salary: £25,000 per annum

Timeline: Immediate Interviews and Start.

Main Purpose of Role:

  • To highlight any areas of weakness which affects the efficiency and productivity of the Group.
  • To deal with the sales invoices and debtors
  • Updating and posting of cashbooks.

Key Areas of Responsibilities:

  • Raising sales invoices and sending to customers.
  • Debtors chasing
  • Prepping and posting customer remittances.
  • Posting of cashbooks
  • To ensure all Company policies are adhered to, including Money Laundering Guidelines, Data Protection Policy and the Anti Bribery Programme.
  • Ad hoc duties and projects as and when required.

Knowledge, skills, and qualifications:

  • A Team Player with a motivational and proactive approach.
  • Highly organised with the ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • A flexible approach with the ability to prioritise work accordingly.
  • Previous experience in a Finance environment an advantage.
  • Experience of Sage 200 would be an advantage.
  • Excellent Microsoft excel skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, inter-personal and presentation skills.
