About the role

Join our finance team based in our Brighton office on a 16 month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. You will be working closely with dedicated areas of the business and be responsible for providing the financial support they need. We are passionate about team learning and we will teach you all you need to know about delivering financial excellence.

  • Accurately and timely processing supplier invoices ensuring that necessary approvals are obtained in accordance with accounting and financial controls.
  • Managing the supplier statement reconciliations and bank reconciliations.
  • Assisting in preparation of weekly supplier payment runs.
  • Ensure budget holders and managers have the financial insights to make informed decisions for the financial health of the company.
  • Assist in posting customer receipts.
  • Assisting in annual financial audit.
  • Process employee expenses and credit card expenditure with our Expense Management System.
  • Be flexible to handle tasks given by Finance Business Partners and prioritise as necessary.

What are we looking for?

  • Some experience or knowledge working within the finance function.
  • AAT qualified or studying towards ACCA would be advantageous but equivalent experience will also be considered.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to working effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong eye for detail with excellent numeracy and literacy skills.
