Finance Assistant (30 hours)
£25-30k pro rata depending on experience

Do you have previous finance, accounts or credit control experience?
Are you a confident communicator and enjoy working in a small team setting?

This is a great opportunity to work with a leading local business and support the Finance team with daily accounting, invoicing and credit control duties.

Main responsibilities will include:
  • Investigating queries, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, clients and suppliers.
  • Managing payment terms, addressing invoice queries and overseeing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
  • Manage client accounts and supplier credit accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in transactions
  • Perform credit card and expense reconciliations, while also providing statistical information to management and completing Excel spreadsheets to support financial analysis and reporting

Ideal applicants will have similar experience, excellent communication skills, the ability to work to deadlines and prioritise, a high level of numeracy and enjoy working with financial data and calculations.

Hours are flexible both in days and hours per day.
