Harmonic are proud to be working alongside one of the UK's leading live entertainment and event businesses in the search for their next Finance Assistant, in an exciting period of growth for the business.


The Business:

Founded in 2017, our client has grown from strength to strength into one of the leading businesses within their field. Specialising in the curation of spoken word events, our client offers a voice to both established and emerging names within their fields, providing a platform for artists, actors, comedians and more to both showcase their work and tap into conversations relating to some of the biggest topics of the moment.

As a result of their success, the business has grown into a global operation, with a presence in Australia, Europe and the USA. With values at the heart of how they operate, there is a core belief that their line-ups should offer something for everyone and be accessible anywhere. The Role:

Reporting into a fantastic senior finance manager who places a real emphasis on training and development, this opportunity will suit ambitious junior finance professionals who are keen to really kick on with their careers. Working in a fast paced, dynamic and exciting work environment, the role will offer exposure to a variety of different duties, and will have a genuine impact on the success of the finance department.

Based in a collaborative office space in the heart of one of the most culturally historic parts of London, the role will support hybrid working and offer study support, in line with their desire to promote and develop internally.

The Duties:

  • Combination of AP and AR responsibilities
  • Weekly payment runs
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Managing accounts inbox
  • Processing invoices
  • Ad hoc support for wider finance team

What we need to see (Essential):

  • Strong Excel skills
  • Xero experience
  • Driven, ambitious mindset


What we need to see (Bonus):

  • AAT / ACCA / CIMA studier


Salary
: up to £32k + study support


Location
: London (3 days in office / 2 from home)
