Finance Assistant - French Speaking

We are seeking a multi-lingual & detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our growing Engineering client based in Hedge End, Hampshire.

This role is pivotal in supporting the finance department with a variety of tasks, including bank reconciliations, credit control, expense management, and more.

The ideal candidate will be fluent in French, and possess a strong foundation in financial principles and a talent for multitasking in a fast-paced, multi-lingual environment.

Language Requirements:

Proficiency in English is mandatory, fluency in French is required.

Skills, Experience Required:

  • Fluent in written and spoken English and French is required
  • Administration experience ideally within a finance position
  • Well organised, accurate, articulate, and able to prioritize workload under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative
  • A good team player who is able to relate to people on all levels and across different cultures
  • A flexible, adaptable, enthusiastic and pro-active attitude
  • AAT Qualified or studying towards CIMA is desirable and not essential
  • Strong IT skills and Proficient in MS Office (specially Excel) and ERP software

Position: Finance Assistant

Location: Hedge End, Hampshire

Duration: Permanent (Full Time/ Part-Time)

Salary: £30,000

Hours: Full-Time, Monday - Friday

Start: Notice Dependant
