This is an exciting opportunity to join this fantastic Social Housing company as a Finance Assistant.

THE ESSENTIALS

BASE: Manchester. We typically work 4 days in the office, 1 day from home (your choice on the days). HOURS: 37.5 hours per week. We’re not precious about what time you want to start and finish working. If you’re an early bird, come in early. If you have the luxury of being able to sleep in, do so!

SALARY: TBD based on experience
STATUS: Full time, permanent.
START: TBD, dependent on notice period.

CORE MISSION:

To be an efficient transactions machine! This role requires you to own bank postings and ledger reconciliations, ensuring correct allocation. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all transactions are fully approved and assigned to the correct entity and project. You are responsible for reconciling the intercompany positions across the main trading group, accurately recording transactions and communicating the financial position.

SPECIFIC SKILLS:
• Experience in a transactional role in a fast paced business environment
• Expert excel knowledge
• Experience in persistently reconciling information to ensure amounts are consistent, accurate and complete.
• Finance systems knowledge - experience using Business Central is preferrable
