Finance Assistant - Newark - £25,000 - £30,000 - Full-time Permanent - Hybrid Working

Our client is currently seeking a Finance Assistant for a full-time, permanent position in Newark. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in purchase or sales ledger, or a comprehensive finance assistant or accounts administrator role, looking to advance their careers.

Responsibilities:

  • Raise and process invoices using accounting software
  • Manage sales ledger processes
  • Conduct credit control
  • Perform bank reconciliations
  • Handle other ad hoc finance duties

About You: This role is ideal for someone eager to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You may have previously worked solely in accounts payable or accounts receivable and now seek a more comprehensive role with growth opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a finance environment
  • Proficiency with purchase ledger, sales ledger, or credit control
  • Experience using accountancy software
  • Ideally, you have started or have the desire to study for your AAT
