Finance Assistant
- Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum

We are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join a finance team of 14 on a maternity cover basis. This role is a busy and vital position with a focus on sales ledger and credit control tasks. If you are a confident individual with professional communication skills and a knack for detailed financial management, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Day to Day of the role:- Manage and maintain the sales ledger, ensuring all debtor information is current and accurate.
- Process sales invoices and credit notes on a daily basis.
- Update the sales platform with invoice data, review for accuracy, and reconcile balances, addressing any discrepancies as needed.
- Conduct credit control activities, liaising with customers to resolve outstanding invoices and payment issues, and provide weekly reports to the Financial Director.
- Respond promptly to both internal and external email queries to settle any invoicing disputes.
- Process receipts daily and allocate debit notes accordingly.
- Prepare and dispatch customer statements weekly.
- Confident with excellent professional communication skills, capable of effective teamwork.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and adhere to deadlines.
- A keen eye for detail.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
