I am representing a wonderful business in recruiting a Finance Assistant to their team. Belonging to the industrial sector and being a multinational supplier, they are looking for someone with varied or similar industry experience.

Your responsibilities will include;

  • Assisting the F.C with month end preparation
  • Running the purchase ledger
  • Preparing monthly accruals on purchases (i.e. goods received but not yet invoiced)
  • Preparing monthly payment runs
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • High volume supplier invoice processing
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Month end reports
  • Monthly Intrastat VAT Returns
  • Adhoc support to the F.C Assist/support to Accounts Assistants

You must have:

  • AAT Level 4 or early stages of ACCA/CIMA - or equivalent in experience
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Strong Purchase Ledger experience
  • High accuracy due to large sums involved
  • Excellent communication/interpersonal skills

You might have:

  • Dealt with foreign currency
  • Intrastat VAT knowledge
  • Experience in a similar industry with high value stock
