The Role: Finance Assistant

The Client: Boutique Investment Manager

The Location: London City Centre (Hybrid Working)

This is a newly appointed role to join an Investment Management firm in the city of London. They are looking for someone with 1-2 years experience looking to progress their career and become ACCA qualified.

The Requirements:

  • 1-2 years experience in a similar role
  • 2:1 from a top university in a relevant field (Accounting, Finance, Economics, Maths)
  • Has started or looking to start their ACCA/CIMA qualification
  • Prior experience to AP, Bookkeeping, bank recs, payment runs etc
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Prior experience in the Financial Services space would be desirable

The Role:

  • This role sits between both the Corporate Accounting and Fund Accounting team
  • The Successful candidate will be able to chose which way they would like to progress, either as a Corporate Accountant or as a Fund Accountant
  • Assist the Financial Controller & Fund Controller with day to day tasks
  • Executing Payment Runs, Accounts Payable, Banks Reconciliation & Bookkeeping
  • Prepare Specific Fund Calculations, maintaining co-invest schedules, prepare loan investments & receipts.
