Reed Accountancy & Finance are seeking a dedicated Finance Assistant to join our clients finance team on a temporary basis in Ashford. This role is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for numbers. The successful candidate will support our clients financial operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our financial processes.

Day to day of the Finance Assistant role:

  • Processing invoices and managing accounts payable and receivable.
  • Reconciling bank statements and resolving discrepancies.
  • Supporting the finance team with ad-hoc projects and tasks.
  • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

Finance Assistant Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Finance Assistant or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency with accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant qualifications in finance, accounting, or related field are desirable.
