Do you have Purchase Ledger, or Sales Ledger Experience, or are you studying towards your AAT qualification and live within an easy commute of Duston, Northamptonshire.  Warner Recruitment are super excited to be representing a temp to potential permanent opportunity, which could start as soon as tomorrow.

We are excited to be working with this business to recruit an Accounts Assistant into their busy accounts team.  The team are friendly, driven and hardworking, with a wealth of experience you will be able to draw from.  Warner Recruitment are excited to be working with a well-established and growing company based in Duston Northampton.  This role will require the successful candidate to work from the office, full time from day one.

Finance Assistant – Permanent, Duston, Northampton

Duties include
  • Purchase ledger
  • Sales ledger
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Month end processes
  • Reporting to the Sales Ledger and Billing Manager
  • Processing of customer invoices
  • Dealing with customer queries
  • Matching, batching, and coding of invoices
  • Ensure that customer accounts balance
  • Working on Excel
  • Ensure customer receipts are allocated as per remittances
  • Setting up new supplier accounts and maintaining existing accounts
  • Accurately maintaining Finance spreadsheets
  • Accurate posting of daily bank transactions
  • General office tasks
Required Skills:
  • Data Entry or Purchase Ledger Experience
  • Actively Studying AAT, CIMA, ACCA & ACA or equivalent (not essential)
  • Accountancy and Finance Graduate (not essential)
  • Available to start work quickly (ideally 1 weeks’ notice or less)
