Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor customer accounts to identify overdue invoices and manage the collection process.
• Communicate with customers to follow up on outstanding payments and negotiate payment terms when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of all credit control activities, including payment plans and customer communications.
• Prepare and send out statements of accounts.
• Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to resolve billing discrepancies and disputes.
• Provide regular reports on the status of outstanding debts and credit control activities to the finance manager.
• Assist in month-end closing activities, including reconciliation of accounts receivable.
• Support other finance functions as required, including accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.

Profile

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with accounting software (preferred).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• May be working towards an accountancy degree.
