Job Title: Finance Assistant

Location: Cannon Street, London

Duration: Minimum 1 Month

Hours and Days: Part-Time, Monday/Tuesday/ Thursday 9am - 5pm

Pay: £13-15phr

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Finance Assistant to join our client on a temporary basis. This role requires in-depth knowledge of Sage 200 and experience in various finance functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform bank reconciliations.
  • Allocate payments to invoices and manage payment runs on Sage 200.
  • Create sales orders on Sage 200.
  • Process purchase invoices on Sage 200.
  • Maintain the finance inbox and respond to queries.
  • Update the database with payments.
  • Create orders on third-party platforms for customer dispatch.
  • Assist the finance team during audit.

Required Experience and Skills

  • Proficient in using Sage 200.
  • Experience in creating sales orders and processing purchase invoices on Sage
  • Knowledgeable in accounts payable, accounts receivable functions, and bank reconciliation.
  • Familiarity with audit processes within a finance team
