As a valued member of the Finance team, the Finance Assistant will be involved with all aspects of the daily accounting for sales and finance administration across Plug Me In EV and Plug Me In Heat.

Responsibilities:

• Work with the PMI Finance Team to draw up backing data for commercial bills

• Raise invoices within Business Central

• Send invoices to customers; both consumers and business’

• Responsible for Accounts Receivable mailbox; investigating customer queries, liasing with Operations where needed and providing a resolution

• Debt chasing

• Production of weekly aged debt and sales reports

• Processing of invoices through to payment

• Review outstanding PO’s and action with the business as required

• Responsible for Accounts Payable mailbox; investigating and resolving queries with suppliers

• Supplier statement reconciliations

• Assist with job costing reporting when required

• Payment processing- mid month, month-end and ad hoc

• Collation of CIS statements from debtors

What we are looking for:

  • AAT or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years experience of financial processing in medium sized business
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of Business Central
  • Experience of Stripe
  • Understanding of good process and controls
  • Effective organisational and prioritisation skills

  • Hybrid working, office located in Manchester (with occasional visits to Wigan)
