Finance Assistant

Our client, a rapidly growing out of home agency based in the heart of the West End, has an opening for an experienced proactive Finance Assistant to join their finance team on a 1-year maternity cover. Ideally you will be able to start immediately or on a very short-term notice period.

Reporting to the Financial Controller as the Finance Assistant your key responsibilities will be:

• Managing the Accounts Payable function using Microsoft Navision (NAV) and bespoke media system
• Reconciling the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all Invoices and payments are accounted for and properly posted
• Posting and reconciling intercompany invoices
• Noting any supplier prepayments
• Issuing POs where required to suppliers
• Performing day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data
• Dealing with supplier queries
• Setting up new suppliers on NAV
• Verifying bank details with all new suppliers
• Processing invoices and following up with suppliers and partners as needed
• Assist in company audits
• General administrative duties where required, e.g. scanning and filling

About you:

Ideally you will be part qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) along with previous financial experience gained within the Media / Marketing / Advertising sector, along with having advanced excel skills.
