Orka Financial is partnering with a global business based in Newbury who are looking to hire a skilled and detail-oriented Finance Assistant who has a proven track record of raising purchase orders, processing invoices, and effectively managing supplier relationships. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of their financial processes, contributing to the financial stability of the organisation.

Hybrid working & AAT/ACCA/CIMA study support.

Responsibilities:

  • Raise purchase orders accurately in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with various departments, ensuring purchase orders meet the requirements and specifications.
  • Assist with audit duties
  • Process incoming invoices efficiently, matching them with the corresponding purchase orders
  • Pro actively resolve any discrepancies or issues related to invoices, working closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain a positive and professional relationship with suppliers, facilitating effective communication and ensuring timely deliveries
  • Proven experience in raising purchase orders, processing invoices, and effectively managing supplier relationships.
  • Providing finance support for ad hoc finance projects

Skills

  • Proven experience in raising purchase orders, & processing invoices
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Previous experience suppporting a finance team


Salary up to 29,000 + hybrid working + study support
