Our Client is seeking a Finance Assistant to join the team on a temp-to-perm basis. This is an exciting role offering exposure to multiple areas of finance, with a study package to support your AAT, CIMA, or ACCA qualification.
As a Finance Assistant, you will work closely with a small and dedicated Finance Team, supporting both transactional finance duties and wider financial reporting and analysis. This role is iseal for someone who is motivated to build a successful career in finance and enjoys working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Handling accounts receivable, accounts payable, and banking transactions
- Processing and posting of journals
- Supporting outsourced partners in the review of global payrolls
- Completing monthly credit card reconciliations
- Assisting with month-end closing activities
- Conducting Balance Sheet and P&L reconciliations
- Processing transactions and analysing financial data
- Assisting with VAT filings and payments
- Supporting external audit processes
- Assisting the Business Partner team with cost centre reviews and analysis
- Supporting the Budgeting and Forecasting process
- Collaborating on ad-hoc financial projects to support the wider Finance Team
- Proven experience in a similar finance role
- Strong Excel skills and IT literacy
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Currently studying or keen to study AAT, CIMA, or ACCA
- Must be a driver due to location
