Finance Business Partner - Fixed Term Contract

Join the Harworth Group's talented team of accountants as a Finance Business Partner, where you'll be the primary finance contact for operational teams across the business. This key role involves providing financial analysis and insight to support forecasting and reporting for a property portfolio exceeding £500m.  This is a hybrid role and you will be expected to work in both the Manchester City Centre and Rotherham offices, as well as some home working. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with the management team to deliver financial analysis and insight.
• Collaborate with the business to support strategic planning, annual budgets, and reforecasts.
• Prepare monthly management information and variance analysis for development spend, profit, acquisitions, and disposals.
• Calculate accurate profit on asset disposals.
• Support bi-annual valuation cycles, including cost plan monitoring and value gains analysis.
• Predict year-end valuation movements through in-depth portfolio knowledge.
• Produce and review financial models at site and divisional levels.
• Direct development, acquisition, and project appraisals, providing financial assurance.
• Assist Investor Relations with market announcements.
• Conduct various ad hoc project work and analysis.

Key Relationships:

• Work closely with Regional Directors and their teams.
• Serve as a crucial link between finance and operational teams.
• Be an integral member of the finance team.

Qualifications:

• Strong financial analysis and modelling skills.
• Experience in strategic planning and budget management.
• Ability to provide insightful financial support for decision-making.
• Qualified
