Finance Business Partner / Management Accountant

Your new role
If you are looking for a senior management accounting role that will allow you to focus on business partnering, this could be for you.
Working closely with the plant manager and continuous improvement lead, you will have a direct impact on the ongoing performance of this division.

Duties in the role include :
Collaborate with plant operations teams to identify, implement, and track productivity projects.
Evaluate capital investment proposals before management approval.
Complete the quarterly forecast process and annual budgeting.
Provide support to the Finance team as needed for various topics and projects
Develop and maintain the cost accounting system, including active participation in generating costings for new products.
Take ownership of the annual standard cost build process.
Prepare monthly management accounts and analyse production costs and variances.
Enhance internal reporting (including reports and KPIs) to provide better visibility on cost drivers and progress in cost reduction initiatives

What you'll need to succeed
Ideally qualified with CIMA, ACCA or ACA - applications are also welcome from individuals qualified by experience or on the journey to complete
Prior experience in a manufacturing finance function a distinct advantage as hands in experience of costing and cost accounting
Ability to build rapport and strong working relationships with senior non-finance stakeholders
