Currently recruiting an excellent opportunity to work for a global Cambridge business as a Finance Business Partner . We are looking for someone who can bring value by providing insightful financial advice and analysis, with integrity and objectivity, to support key decision-making processes and organisational goals.

Reporting to the FP&A Manager, and responsible for partnering with the Sales Division. Building a financial understanding of sales performance in different regions and markets, the role is responsible for building and maintaining office-level P&Ls and feeding into commentary of performance against budget. The role is also responsible for ad-hoc analysis of sales performance and sales budgeting, forecasting and investment cases.
  • You’ve got strong core business skills, including influencing and stakeholder management.
  • You have a relevant financial or accounting qualification (e.g. CFA, ACA, CIMA etc.).
  • You’re comfortable presenting to and challenging senior stakeholders within the business.
  • You’ve got the ability to understand the commercial positioning of a business and provide support and critical analysis around strategic plans.
  • You’re able to synthesise large, complex commercial data sets into actionable insights.
  • You’re an effective communicator of financial issues to both financial and non-financial audiences.
  • Prior experience of business partnering commercial functions.
Some previous experience of dealing with software specific accounting policies  and reporting metrics and experience of one or more of the following, NetSuite, PowerBI or Salesforce.

Our client offers an excellent benefits package and salary range of £65k-£70k, depending on experience. Flexible working – at least 1 day/week in the office.
