Finance Business Partner

Are you a skilled finance professional with a passion for the fresh produce industry? Henderson Brown is partnering with a leading company in the sector to find a talented Finance Business Partner. This role offers the chance to collaborate with both commercial and operational teams, driving performance and delivering key financial insights.

Responsibilities but not limited to
* Deliver accurate and timely management information in line with weekly, monthly, and yearly cycles, providing commentary and insights to challenge performance and drive actions that support exceeding budget targets.
* Offer commercial and procurement finance input and insights for tender processes, service provision models, new business opportunities, price modeling, inflation recovery, and other appraisals.
* Provide operational finance input to the operational and logistics team, ensuring performance aligns with agreed KPIs and targets, and support and track the delivery of profit improvement processes across various business areas.
* Generate ad hoc information to support the analysis of business performance and provide financial support for project work.
* Coordinate the generation of commercial, purchasing, and operational budgets and forecasts, reviewing outputs with key stakeholders to ensure numbers are realistic and deliverable.
* Maintain and ensure the accuracy of the costing system, training and supporting key users.
* Contribute to an efficient and robust month-end process, ensuring sales and margin balance sheets are reconciled, understood, and justified.
Qualifications / Education Required:
* ACCA/CIMA part qualified or QBE
Skills and Experience:
* Experience within an FMCG environment is desirable.
* A positive, can-do attitude with a hands-on approach.
* Ability to work well in a team and partner across other functions.
* Excellent communication skills and a confident manner when dealing with stakeholders.
* Excellent organisation and time management skills.
* Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
* High attention to detail.
* Aptitude for practical problem-solving.
