Castlefield Recruitment are currently partnering exclusively with a highly reputable Housing Association who are looking to add a Finance Business Partner to their team on a 12 month FTC basis. They are offering a competitive salary of £70,000and package and have remote working in place (adhoc office based work required).

The role:

  • Build strong relationships with the business to provide a highly professional commercial partnering, financial decision support and critical friend service
  • Support senior operational managers by attending external meetings/discussions with key funders, commissioners and regulatory bodies as the lead finance representative. Supporting bid activities where required
  • Critically review any proposed acquisitions and prepare/review appraisals to ensure business decisions are viable and appropriate
  • Oversee and manage efficient, accurate and timely production of value added management information for both finance and non-finance stakeholders
  • Assist and, where necessary, lead on the preparation and submission of regulatory, statutory and contractual data returns to ensure compliance

The person:

  • Proven and extensive track record of setting the commercial agenda and shaping core business decisions Strong business acumen and commercial awareness
  • Sophisticated investment appraisal, financial modelling and business planning techniques
  • Social housing sector experience
  • Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA/CA graduate calibre finance professional, or equivalent proven experience
