Role details

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Business Partner to join their dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring a smooth relationship between Group Strategy, Finance and the Leisure segment of the business. The successful candidate will support the Executive Management Team as well as other key sales and delivery staff with all aspects of Finance; from the operational to the strategic elements, ensuring the business grows revenues, profit and cash to their maximum potential.

Responsibilities of the Finance Business Partner

• Analyse and interpret revenues, costs, overheads and cash flows of current business and new opportunities.
• Develop and manage budgets, understanding key drivers, and confidently challenge stakeholders as needed.
• Calculate and report ROI and other applicable metrics including KPIs.
• Contribute to the formation of a robust plan and business case for commercial deals and reviewing contracts.
• Identify areas of cost and revenue synergies to positively streamline the business and maximise returns.
• Work closely with sales and account management in the pricing & sales strategy.
• Own the financial planning processes and present changes and variances to latest current company financial plan.

What the successful candidate will bring

• FMCG industry experience
• CIMA/ACA/ACCA qualified or international equivalent with Finance related degree or equivalent experience.
• Extremely strong commercial acumen, including demonstrable experience of personally driving material growth.
• Ability to perform complex investment appraisals.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong business partnering experience.
• Ability to deliver and handle change.
• Proactive and solution focused with high attention to detail.
• Motivated and enthusiastic with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Experience with SAP or general BI tools is desirable.
