Finance Business Partner | Interim | £300 per day (Umbrella) | London / Remote

For a global organisation working in over 100 countries, we're recruiting an interim Finance Business Partner. Reporting to the Head of FP&A, this role will act as the main point of contact for donor and grant funded project delivery managers including financial business planning and reviewing business performance to ensure maximum impact and commercial viability of projects. The Finance Business Partner will provide FP&A information, analysis and financial control support for projects.

Main Duties:

  • Business Partner the Project Managers in the UK and globally on the donor funded projects, providing consolidated financial information
  • Monitor foreign exchange (Fx) fluctuations and the impacts on expenses
  • Support the annual and quarterly business planning cycle for the projects working with FP&A to ensure compliance, help develop standard reports for KPI reporting, and ensure projections are reflected in SAP
  • Support month-end reporting, reviewing monthly and annual business performance, preparing management reports and variance analysis.
  • Support investment appraisals and ROI analysis on new project proposal budgets
  • Support the delivery teams in managing the financial viability of contract amendments, identifying any risks to budget, income and expenditure and year-end processes
  • Support the production of financial and management information internally and externally

Person Specification:

  • Qualified or Finalist level Accountant with experience working across large, complex organisations
  • Strong experience working in international and multi-cultural organisations
  • Commercial finance experience in organisations undergoing growth
  • Appraisal of development projects
  • SAP experience
