As a Finance Business Partner at Côte, you'll be the financial guru turning data into insights. Working side-by-side with our operators and reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, you'll provide clear, actionable insights that boost sales, profit, and value. Whether it's analysing a new marketing initiative, building a new dashboard or guiding the Operational teams with savvy financial advice, you’ll be the go-to for making complex info easy to digest. You’ll play a pivotal part in keeping our restaurants thriving and our guests returning for more!

Locations: You’ll be based mainly at our Support Office in Kensington (W8 5DA) and there will be occasional travel to our restaurants nationwide. Hybrid working is a standard practice amongst our Support Office teams at Côte) with on average 2-3 days in the office.

Some insight to the role.

  • Be the key Finance point of contact for the South region of 35-40 restaurants, providing support to the Operational Director by establishing strong credibility and working in a supportive and objective manner.
  • Provide commercial analysis and insight in relation to key operational decisions and strategic initiatives, with a simple narrative that is easily understood by non-financial stakeholders.
  • Produce and develop weekly and monthly KPI reporting/dashboards that demonstrates real insight and drives action.
  • Present financial results and insights to the regional team on a weekly and periodic basis.
  • Manage the forecasting and budgeting processes for the region.
  • Input into the monthly exec and board reporting packs, with analysis on key business metrics.
  • Play a key role in commercial upskilling across the region.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments and business partners to produce investment appraisals and supporting analysis.
  • Provide ad hoc support to the Head of Commercial Finance, CFO and wider Senior Leadership Team on operational and financial matters.

A bit about you…

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or qualified by experience.
  • Proven track record of business partnering and managing stakeholders.
  • Curious, proactive, and meticulous with good influencing skills.
  • Experience in delivering budgets and the process of achieving stakeholder buy-in.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience in financial modelling.
  • Excellent presentation skills (PowerPoint).
