Our client is seeking an experienced accountant with a focus on Finance Business Partnering/Controllership (a true mix of the two) to support a new acquisition for this services business. The role requires the building of a financial process, month end packs, forecasting and budgeting process and business partnering relationships across multiple sites.

Client Details

The company is a newly acquired business within a large international group. The group is highly profitable and acquisitive.

Description

  • Create the company's financial planning and budgeting processes.
  • Develop financial strategies to support company growth.
  • Create and manage accounting and financial systems, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Provide financial reports and interpret financial information for strategic decision-making.
  • Build strong relationships with non-finance stakeholders across multiple sites.
  • Build a team of their own over time

Profile

A successful Finance Business Partner/Controller should have:

  • A strong understanding of financial strategies and their application to business growth.
  • Confidence to build something from the bottom up
  • To get stuck in the day to day whenever necessary
  • Confident stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent financial reporting skills.
  • A good understanding of regulatory compliance
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Job Offer

  • A competitive salary range of £54,000 - £65,000, depending on the successful candidate's qualifications and experience.
