Location: Watford
Salary: Up to £55,000 dependent on experience
Reporting to: CFO
Employment Type: Office-based, Full-time

Are you a skilled Finance Controller ready to take on a pivotal role within an established business? Our client are seeking a highly motivated individual to provide active business support, deliver timely and accurate management reporting and ensure robust financial processes.

Main Purpose

To offer comprehensive business support, manage timely and accurate management reporting, budgeting, audits, receivable/risk management, cash flow management and coordination within the wider team.

Main Responsibilities

• Budgeting & Forecasting: Department/entity-wise budgeting, forecasting, and monthly MIS reporting.
• Business Analysis: Reviewing, analysing, and reporting on E-Commerce and regular business activities.
• Risk & Cash Flow Management: Monitoring receivables and payables.
• Commercial Advice: Collaborate with the business team for order book pipeline and provide commercial insights.
• Corporate Reporting: Prepare analytical reports for the CFO and the Board.
• Audit Coordination: Liaise with statutory and internal auditors.
• VAT Returns: Handle quarterly VAT returns.
• Inventory & Royalty Reporting: Manage and report on inventory and royalties.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant or similar educational background with demonstrable experience in a similar role.

Previous Experience and Knowledge

• Relevant experience within a branded and retail/wholesale supply environment.
• Proficiency in managing accounting, banking, and commercial aspects.
• Experience working closely with Finance Head and Managing Director.
• Strong communication skills at all levels.
• Excellent technical accounting skills.
• Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
• Proactive with attention to detail.
• Preferably knowledgeable in SAP.
• Expertise in financial analysis and reporting.

Salary and Benefits

• Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum + Bonus
• Holiday: 25 days plus bank holidays
• Pension: NEST Pension Scheme
• Healthcare: AXA PPP Healthcare available after probation
• Hours: 40 per week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm, from Watford office
