Job Title: Finance Controller
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 28-32 hours per week
Salary: £33,000 - £40,000 per annum
Location: Redditch

We have an exciting opportunity for a finance controller to join a growing manufacturing business in the Redditch area. The ideal candidate will have experience within a similar position and be either ACCA, CIMA or AAT qualified. The company offers an excellent flexible working structure and a competitive salary!

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the Managing Director and Senior Leadership Team to facilitate day to day operations and take responsibility for the financial management of the company.
  • Create weekly, monthly and annual reports and examine data closely to identify trends, financial forecasts and discrepancies.
  • Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed and reported and develop budget and financial plans to look for cost reduction opportunities.
  • Work closely with colleagues and internal stakeholders to ensure targets are exceeded and satisfy internal and external demands.
  • Review the MRP system to ensure efficiency regarding Cost Drivers and offer strategies on best practice.
  • Assist the Managing Director with preparation of annual business plans and monitor the progress to ensure objectives are met.

Skills and Attributes required:
  • Minimum 3 years experience within finance.
  • Either ACCA, CIMA or AAT qualified.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills required.
  • Knowledge of Power BI is preferable but not essential.
