SRG is seeking a Finance Director with 25+ years of experience in financial leadership roles within large multinational companies for a substantial manufacturing group headquartered in the UK. This role offers a competitive remuneration package and involves regular meetings in London and various European locations. This interim/permanent position requires ACA qualification, a strong manufacturing background, hands-on experience preparing consolidated group accounts, and high-level expertise in managing banking and trade credit insurance relationships in the UK and multiple European jurisdictions.

What You Will Be Doing

• Representing the group in high-level meetings with UK and European banks and trade credit insurers.
• Leading and managing a large group accounting function, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to the board.
• Hands-on preparation of consolidated group accounts.
• Contributing to strategic discussions with the board.
• Overseeing financial initiatives to support the group's goals.

What You Will Need to Succeed In This Role

• ACA qualified.
• 25+ years of experience in financial leadership roles within large multinational manufacturing companies.
• Strong background in managing banking and trade credit insurance relationships in multiple UK and European jurisdictions.
• Proven track record of managing and heading a large group accounting function, including hands-on experience preparing consolidated group accounts
• Experience in reporting to the board.
• Ability to handle complex financial issues with calm rationality and strategic insight.
• Ability to engage with a diverse stakeholder group.
