You will be based full time at the office in Manchester.

The Role:

As the Finance Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the business, ensuring strong financial controls, compliance, and strategic planning. You will play a crucial role in guiding the company's financial health and decision-making, working closely with senior leadership to drive profitability and sustainable growth.

To £130k plus a range of benefits

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the finance function, ensuring robust financial planning, forecasting, and reporting.
• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Oversee budgeting, cash flow management, and financial risk assessment.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, tax obligations, and financial policies.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to the Board and senior management.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and financial institutions.
• Drive efficiencies, cost management, and profitability across the organisation.
• Support strategic investment decisions, including project financing and acquisitions.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Finance Director or senior financial leader within the construction sector.
• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, construction industry financial practices (CIS), and reporting standards.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Commercially astute with the ability to provide strategic financial insight.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with senior leadership and operational teams.
