Finance Manager Part-time

A family-based business are looking to appoint a part-time Finance Manager to work as part of a small team reporting directly to the Managing Director at their offices on the outskirts of Newcastle.

Qualified by experience or qualification (ACCA/CIMA/AAT) the successful Finance Manger will assume responsibility for overseeing all aspects of the finances. This will include bookkeeping processes and payroll by team members and sole responsibility for the preparation of regular financial, management and costing reports for discussion with the Directors.You will be preparing regular budget v actual reports to provide meaningful management information to the Directors and accounting analysis presentations.

We are looking for a hands on capable Accountant with a good understanding of working within SME's and or family businesses. You must be a great communicator with a strong working knowledge of accounts packages and Excel.

The position is available on a part-time basis between 21-24 hours each week with flexibility as to when these hours are but you must be able to attend the office to really understand your role.
