Altum Consulting are partnering with a PE backed design business to recruit a Finance Manager (EMEA financial reporting and compliance) The successful candidate will prepare monthly, quarterly, annual results in compliance with local regulations and strengthen internal control and governance as well as providing advisory support to the business as required.

This role is for an initial 6 month day rate contract and applying candidates must be able to start by mid May.

Role/responsibilities:

  • Projecting accounting: timely and accurately accounting for projects, including revenue recognition, cost projections, timecard reporting and project forecast.
  • Reporting: delivery of month end closing and accurate reports. Preparing and maintain monthly, quarterly & annual reporting for EMEA
  • Liaising with local accountants to ensure local compliance.
  • Preparation of weekly cash flow
  • Review/preparations of GST/VAT returns.
  • Strengthening internal controls and governance
  • Preparing variance/trend analysis
  • Preparing reconciliations of internal accounts
  • Month end review and corrections
  • Reconciliation of intercompany balances
  • Regional tax compliance
  • Balance sheet reconciliations

You'll be/have:

  • A Qualified Accountant with significant PQE across financial accounting/reporting.
  • Experience working in international markets.
  • Experience partnering and presenting with senior stakeholders.
  • Experience working across multiple projects.
  • Available immediately/short notice period.
