Finance Manager

A leading Bristol employer is looking for a new, technically focused Finance Manager to manage the rebates as part of their supply chain.

Your new role
This is an exciting and newly created role that interacts with a variety of different parts of the business and key senior stakeholders. We are looking for a technically strong accountant who has a good understanding of key accounting principles. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate accounting of rebates across a geographical region. Key duties include:

• Review of rebates reconciliations and assign action owners.
• Perform quality reviews on entries posted
• Prepare weekly and monthly management reports
• Escalate any issues including lack of response, follow upon aged items or increase in aged items
• Collaborate with sales ledger teams to ensure invoices are issued
• Collaborate with AP teams to ensure credit notes received are posted correctly.

What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for a proactive hands-on accountant with good attention to detail. This is a great opportunity to solve problems and set up processes and procedures, so you should be an experienced accountant with strong leadership and stakeholder management skills. You should be motivated by results and have a continuous improvement mindset. Accountancy qualifications would be beneficial, but they aren't essential.
